Reading the site

CostByCollege is a static reference site. Reading a page does not require an account, a sign in, or a form. The site does not ask readers for names, addresses, or payment details, and it has no comment system or application form.

Server records

The web server that hosts the site keeps standard access records, such as the page requested, the time of the request, and the network address it came from. Those records are used to keep the site running, to understand which pages are read, and to block abusive traffic. They are not sold.

Cookies

The pages built for this pilot set no advertising cookies and run no advertising trackers. If measurement tools are added later, this page will be updated before they are used.

Links out

School pages link to official school websites and to other pages on this site. Once a reader follows a link to another website, that website has its own privacy policy, and this page no longer covers the visit.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated text will be published on this page with a new last checked date.
